Hey, Mike here, I hope you're doing great! In my last post i talked about how it was important not to stress out, especially at such an emotional time as the world cup and how getting out to exercise on your bike could help. Well folk's i have been setting a good example and started cycling into work!! Yes its true, iv got on my bike. I was a little hesitant at first, especially as the studio is in Cookridge and its mostly up hill all the way, but it did it.

Cycling is a excellent form of exercise. Studies have shown that getting on your bike can reduce stress, help tone the arms & thighs. There are even studies suggesting that cellulite can be reduced from cycling!( I'm not sure about that one)Anyhow, i think it's safe to say that it is a great way to help keep fit and health and it's relatively inexpensive. You can pick a good quality bike up for less that £150 form certain auction sites. Its also great way for the family to enjoy fitness together. This time of year everyone loves being outdoors and getting on you bike together as a family is a super way to enjoy the summer sun!

So if you're thinking of a new way to exercise or are looking for a way to enjoy being outdoors throughout the summer months, getting on your bike is one of the best ways, its fun, its a great way to burn calories and its free!

Enjoy the sunshine

Keep well

Mike.

At last!! Its Here!

After a long four years, i am please to welcome back the world cup in South Africa.
The next five weeks will be filled with joy and jubilation and also sorrow and despair. For many of us it's the feast of football we have been longing for since the end of the football season, for others its nothing more than an major headache.

It's a great time for social activities, drinking down at the pub or bar, meeting up at friends place with a some beers & having barbecues. Its a good time to find an excuse not to exercise and a good time to drink a little more than usual. Exercise is a great way to relieve stress. So if the results are not going your way, dont stress or get drunk, get out and walk the dog, go for a little run in the park or get on your bike for a few miles- you'll feel great for it!

Enjoy the world cup and lets hope its a great one!

Best of Health

Mike
